How it works
- Add cities: Type a city name and pick from the list. Up to 12 cities.
- Read the grid: Each column is a city, each row is an hour. Green = work hours (9:00–18:00).
- Hover or click: Hover an hour to preview, click to select. Other cities update instantly.
- Copy: Click "Copy meeting times" to get a text list you can paste into email or chat.
Common scenarios
- Scheduling a call with a colleague in London: Add Beijing and London. The green rows are the hours when both of you are working.
- Checking if it's too late to call a client in New York: Add your city and New York. If the New York column shows a time after 18:00, it's outside business hours.
- Planning a trip: Add your home city and destination. The grid shows you what local time you'll experience at any hour.
- Coordinating a family call across three continents: Add all locations. Find the row where everyone is awake (not necessarily work hours).
FAQ
What can I use this for?
Four common scenarios: scheduling international meetings (find overlapping work hours at a glance), checking what time it is for a colleague before calling, planning travel (know what time you'll arrive locally), and coordinating with overseas friends or family without doing mental math.
How is this different from just Googling "time in London"?
Google gives you one city at a time. This shows all your cities side by side on the same grid, so you can see the overlap instantly. You don't need to convert each city's time back to yours in your head.
Does it handle daylight saving time (DST) automatically?
Yes. It uses the browser's built-in IANA time zone database, which automatically adjusts for DST. No manual offset calculations needed.
How do I find a time that works for everyone?
Add all the cities you're coordinating. Look at the grid — the green tiles are work hours (9:00–18:00 local time). The rows where multiple cities show green are your overlapping work windows. Click any hour to lock in a time, then copy the meeting summary.
Can I share the times with someone else?
Yes. Click an hour to select it, then click "Copy meeting times." You'll get a text list like "Beijing: 09:00 (Sat, Oct 3)" that you can paste into email, Slack, or WhatsApp.
Is my data uploaded or tracked?
No. All calculations run in your browser. Your city list is saved in localStorage on your device only — nothing is sent to a server.
How many cities can I add?
Up to 12 cities. Your selection is saved automatically and restored on your next visit.
Is it really free?
Yes. No paywall, no usage limit, no sign-up required.
